Show it! Cards

Only available in Hungarian. The practical application of hand signal communication is greatly facilitated by the Show it! cards. By using it, communication is enabled before the emergence of speech, and after the emergence of speech, it has a predominant effect on the development of fine motor skills, so it is also excellent for use in nurseries and kindergartens.

The Show it! deck of cards consists of 36 + 1 card deck. On 18 pictures a little girl, Lily, and on 18 pictures a little boy, Petey, show the signs. Children’s mouths form the initial sound of the words, giving the impression that they are talking to you. The aim of this method of illustration is that children who hold the cards in their hands can imitate not only hand movements but also mouth movements.

To make using as easy as possible, there are visual cues, arrows, ghost hands, indications of the number of repetitions, and a total of 108 methodological instructions.

The 108 instructions fall into 6 types:
– detailed description of sign language
– what to say
– time schedule
– promoting visual and conceptual thinking
– promoting memorisation
– encouraging creation of verbal short sentences
